Stainless steel boat cleats made from solid 316 stainless steel, with rectangular shape and 2 bolting points.  These deck cleats have a classic rectangular shape giving an elegant appearance combining strength and robustness. 

These stainless steel boat cleats come in a choice of sizes ranging from 100mm to 250mm length.  The size range of these cleats covers a wide range of boat sizes, from dinghies to cruisers.  

For attaching these deck cleats we recommend using a nut and bolted joint if at all possible.   Moreover, if used as boat mooring cleats, definitely use a nut and bolted joint.  However, if our cleats are being used for ligther-duty purposes it may be fine to fix them with self-tapping screws.

Attach these cleats to your boat with the 2 central 'thru' bolting points.  A bolt or set-screw is passed all the way from the top of the cleat and passes through both the cleat and the deck.  We have a nice range of raised-head slot countersunk set-screws to go with these cleats.

If our boat deck cleats are a replacement for existing cleats, please pay attention to the hole dimensions (diameter and pitch) given for each size of cleat.  By checking these, you can make life easier by matching up with the existing holes in your deck.

Assuming you are using a nut and bolted joint, we suggest using our penny washers and Nyloc nuts on the underside of the joint.  Also we suggest using a good quality silicone sealant between the cleat and the deck.
